Cisco’ s Girls Power Tech is a global mentoring initiative that empowers and encourages girls and young women to consider educational and career paths in STEM( science, technology, engineering, and maths) and technology. As part of the initiative, Cisco employees worldwide spend the day with girls age 13 to 18 and engage with them through office visits, tours, presentations, and mentoring. Students get to meet women role models and men who are advocates for women in technology, learning about their career paths and lives in the technology field. They also get the chance to use Cisco’ s latest TelePresence and collaboration solutions to interact with other girls across the globe and with successful women working at Cisco and elsewhere.
During the event, Shukri Eid, Managing Director – East Region, Cisco Middle East, highlighted how innovation in technology and connectivity is allowing amazing things to happen in new, unexpected ways.

Technology Security Evaluation( CC), an international standard for computer security certifications. Recognised in 32 countries, the certificate illustrates the quality of the product, the code’ s integrity and Kaspersky Lab’ s expertise when it comes to protecting its customers.
With more than half( 57 %) of all businesses assuming that their IT security will be compromised at some point, cybersecurity is continuing to be of profound importance for public and private sector organisations alike. It is therefore vital that businesses can get assurances about the best products to protect their critical data and systems. The CC certificate is globally recognised among government bodies, state organisations and ministries responsible for security among its signatories, thereby providing a valuable indicator of quality and consistency.
The Kaspersky Lab product is now certified to the EAL 2 + Assurance Level, which is recognised by all 32 signatory countries across the world. Certification was conducted by an independent Spanish evaluation laboratory and approved by the certification body of Spain.
The certification report issued confirms the ability of Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows to provide reliable encryption of device data, including user and operation system data, along with antimalware and access control functionality. www. intelligentciso. com | Issue 03
