Public sector organisations face a
number of complex challenges when
managing their IT infrastructures.
According to reports by Verizon
and Symantec, public sector
organisations face cyberthreats, such
as ransomware, email-borne malware,
phishing, cyberespionage and elicit
cryptomining. They must also operate
in compliance with regulations. The
SureCloud GRC applications and
cybersecurity services now available
via G-Cloud 10 include:
• SureCloud Penetration Testing
• SureCloud IT Health Check (ITHC)
• Payment Card Industry (PCI)
Approved Vendor Scanning (ASV)
• GDPR Manager

“Today, public sector organisations face
a number of complex challenges when
securing their IT infrastructures and
practices,” said Luke Potter, Cybersecurity
Practice Director at SureCloud.
“This is due to increasing regulation,
cyberthreats and digital transformation
– moving data and applications from
existing infrastructure to the cloud,
where missteps can leave them
vulnerable. Public sector bodies must
assess the risk associated with these
moves and also ensure that they
maintain compliance with any regulatory
and non-regulatory requirements.”
