Ticketmaster
Ticket sales company Ticketmaster said it had identified
malicious software on a customer support product hosted
by Inbenta Technologies, an external third-party supplier
to Ticketmaster.
As a result, some of the company’s customers’ personal
or payment information may have been accessed by an
unknown third-party.
In a statement, Ticketmaster said: “As soon as we
discovered the malicious software, we disabled the Inbenta
product across all Ticketmaster websites.
“Less than 5% of our global customer base has been
affected by this incident. Customers in North America
have not been affected.”
GLOBAL
A database containing personal details and outpatient dispensed medicines
belonging to Singapore-based SingHealth was the target of a major cyberattack.
About 1.5 million patients who visited SingHealth’s specialist outpatient clinics
and polyclinics from May 1 2015 to July 4 2018 had their non-medical personal
particulars illegally accessed and copied, the company said.
The records were not tampered with and no other patient records, such as
diagnosis, test results or doctors’ notes, were breached.
