A global leader in sustainable mobility , have signed a worldwide cooperation agreement focusing on rail transport cybersecurity .
The partnership will allow the partners to provide rail operators with solutions and services combining Alstom ’ s solutions and expertise in rail transport with Airbus CyberSecurity ’ s services and expertise in ensuring the security of industrial information systems .

“ As specialists in the cybersecurity of industrial systems , particularly in the transport sector , we are keen to contribute to securing the information systems of the rail sector along with Alstom ,” said Nicolas Razy , Director of Airbus CyberSecurity France .
Airbus CyberSecurity will contribute to joint offers with services and solutions in security monitoring of railway systems through its various Security Operations Centres ( SOCs ) and in responding to incidents . It will also contribute to security auditing services and penetration and intrusion testing , notably through its simulation and testing platform for industrial systems , CyberRange .
Alstom is bringing its knowledge of railway systems design , manufacture , operations and maintenance into the partnership . The global leader in digital rail will also leverage its unique railway cybersecurity expertise developed in recent years .

Run by a team of over 50 experienced , industry-certified consultants , the new SOC provides Bridewell with a fivefold increase in capacity , allowing the company to scale in line with rapidly expanding client needs . Both CREST and SOC 2 accredited , the SOC is available as either a fully outsourced or hybrid model , providing organisations with proactive identification and response to cyberthreats via 24 / 7 / 365 threat intelligence , incident response and managed detection and response ( MDR ). essential skills needed to run a modern , agile and responsive SOC , under the guidance of experienced Bridewell analysts .
Designed with sustainability and staff well-being in mind , the new SOC caters for all styles of working and is powered entirely by renewable energy , supporting the company ’ s ongoing sustainability efforts since becoming carbon negative last year .
The SOC forms a critical part of Bridewell ’ s links with Welsh cybersecurity communities and educational partners , including Cyber Colleges Cymru , a government initiative that creates pathways into a career in cyber for Sixth Form College students and the University of South Wales .
