This month , I spoke to ReliaQuest ’ s SVP of Technical Operations , Mike McPherson , to decipher the findings from the company ’ s Annual Cyber Threat Report which revealed the latest risks to organisations and how to guard against them – drawing attention to the construction sector as being the most targeted by cybercriminals . Elsewhere in the magazine , ‘ Business Surveillance ’ shines a spotlight on the complexity of cybersecurity , as Richard Sorosina , CTSO ANZ , Qualys , discusses the importance of the language used to foster effective communication around the value of technology tools for mitigating risk .
On page 67 , we hear from Kevin Reed , CISO at Acronis who adds some colour to the Singapore Cyber Landscape ( SCL ) 2022 report published by the Cybersecurity Agency of Singapore as it warns of the extended risk faced by the state from emerging threats .
