Cohesity and Google Cloud deepen partnership to boost cyber-resilience and data insights

C ohesity has announced an expanded collaboration with Google Cloud aimed at boosting organisations’ cyberresilience and unlocking greater value from their data.

The new integrations will equip businesses with advanced capabilities to prepare for cyberthreats, comprehensively respond to incidents and rapidly recover critical data following attacks, significantly reducing downtime and operational disruptions.
A key element of the enhanced partnership involves the integration of Google Threat Intelligence within the Cohesity Data Cloud. This will enable customers to detect emerging threats within their back-up data using actionable intelligence from Google’ s global threat experts.
The partnership will facilitate the establishment of Isolated Recovery Environments( IRE) in Google Cloud, allowing customers to securely validate their recovery processes before an actual incident. Additionally, the integration of Cohesity Data Cloud with Google’ s Security Operations will provide mutual customers with improved data resiliency and enhanced security posture management.
The integration of Cohesity Data Cloud with Google Agentspace will also introduce Cohesity Gaia as an AI agent. Customers will gain advanced reasoning capabilities for deeper insights and smarter decision-making, while benefiting from improved compliance and data security.
Stephen Orban, Vice President of Migrations, ISVs, & Marketplace at Google Cloud, said:“ Our collaboration with Cohesity will enable customers to strengthen their cyber- resilience posture while accelerating their Digital Transformation journeys.”
